A design of the LCD controller on an armored vehicle display terminal was discussed.Using dual-core digital signal processor BF561 as the LCD controller,the additional timing ASIC circuit was not required.LCD panel could be connected to BF561 directly.And the design of the circuit was simplified.The hardware design and software design of the controller were described in detail in the paper.The solution of the problems that should be pay attention to in the design was provided.
