一种H.264快速帧间预测模式选择算法

A Fast Inter-Mode Prediction Selection Algorithm for H.264

提出了一种可降低编码复杂度的快速帧间模式选择算法。该算法充分利用了图像序列中宏块间相关性,并且通过一些阈值的设定提前选出侯选模式组,然后从侯选模式组中选出最佳模式。实验结果显示,同遍历模式选择算法相比,在编码结果没有大的变换的情况下,编码速度得到极大的提高。

The paper proposes a fast inter mode selection algorithm by using correlation of video sequence.This algorithm decided the probable mode,from which the best mode is selected through setting several threshold.Experiment results show that the new algorithm can make the video coding process speed up compared to full-search algorithm while the result of video image changed little.
