Idiopathic gingival fibromatosis or hereditary gingival fibromatosis(HGF)is a rare oral benign disorder characterized by universality and gradually enlargement of the oral gingival tissues,the etiology hasn't been proved definitely so far.The article bases on the female adolescent who have idiopathic gingival fibromatosis to illustrate this kind of disorder's etiology,clinical manifestations,histopathology,treatment and the differential diagnosis with other gingival disturbance which characterized by the proliferative fibrous overgrowth.
