As one of the most important parts of the news,the news headline plays the key role in the whole.Due to the different language backgrounds and news tradition,English and Chinese news headline has their own characteristics respectively in words,grammar and rhetoric.Getting acquainted with the differences will contribute to improving the reading capability for readers as well as accurate translation for news translators.
