A large number of researchers have done much contribution to the development of the Self-taught higher education examinations. The article analyses the status quo of the researches into the Self-taught examinations and puts forward some specific proposals about the field and the topics that the Self-taught examinations has to do urgently. In addition, the article gives some suggestions on how to improve the researches into the Self-taught examinations thoroughly.
