A New Visual Angle of the Transition of Higher Education's Social Attribute

高等教育社会属性的真正转变源自于高等教育活动本身的质变,而非高等教育活动的量变及它与社会其他活动之间关系的变化。因此,高等教育的经济功能及其壮大无法诠释高等教育的经济基础属性。只有在知识经济时代,高等教育活动本身发生了质变,即它直接参与了社会生产活动,这才导致了高等教育社会属性的部分转变,即经济基础属性的产生。

The real transition of higher education's social attribute stems from the qualitative changes of high education itself,instead of the quantitative changes of higher education activities and the changing relations between higher education activities and other social activities.Therefore,from the emergence and strengthening of higher education's economic function,we can't infer that higher education's attribute of economic base belongs to higher education.Only in the age of knowledge economy,when the qualitative changes of high education activities take place,namely,higher education activities participate in social production directly,does the social attribute of higher education change partially,that is,the attribute of economic base comes into being.
