Constructing the New All-dimensional Opening Pattern both Eastward and Westward

改革开放以来,我国实施了以向东为主的对外开放的基本国策。取得了举世瞩目的伟大成就。以沿海地区为主战场的全方位的开放格局,在今后仍将成为我国对外开放的主要取向。同时我们又要看到,随着我国对外开放的不断扩大,综合国力的持续增强,国际形势,特别是我国与周边国家双边和区域性合作的内涵与外延正在发生重大的变化。在坚持我国向东开放的同时,加大向西开放力度,构筑向东和向西全方位开放的新格局,已经成为我国扩大开放,发展与周边国家关系,确保国家利益的必然选择。

Since reform and opening-up,China carried out a fundamental state policy of opening to the outside world mainly eastward,with a lot of notable achievements.In the future,the all-dimensional opening pattern based on coastal areas is still a main trend of China's opening to the outside world.Meanwhile,it is worthwhile to know that the international situation,especially the intension and extension of China's bilateral and regional cooperation with peripheral countries,with the constant expansion of China's opening to the outside world and China's continuous strengthening of comprehensive national power,is now experiencing significant changes.At the same time of sticking to opening eastward,China has to strengthen the power of opening westward and construct the new aU-dimensional opening pattern both eastward and westward,which is necessary for China to further opening up,develop the relationships with peripheral countries and ensure the national interest.
