双层锰氧化物单晶La_(1.4)Sr_(1.6)Mn_2O_7的磁性研究

Magnetic Properties Study in a Single Crystal of the Double-layered Manganites La_(1.4)Sr_(1.6)Mn_2O_7

摘要 通过光学浮区炉生长了La1.4Sr1.6Mn2O7单晶样品,并对样品的结构和磁性进行了研究。通过XRD检测结果发现样品均为单相,空间群为14/mmm。通过SQUID实验对样品的磁性进行了研究,从测得的M-T曲线可知,在降温过程中,样品经历了顺磁和铁磁转变。通过M-H曲线,证实了样品的ab面为易磁化方向。 Single crystals of La1.4Sr1.6Mn2O7 were melt-grown in flowing air in a floating-zone optical image furnace. The structure and magnetic properties have been studied with X-ray diffraction patterns and SQUID, The samples are single phase, and the space group is an orthorhombic 14/mmm symmetry. With the decrease of temperature, the La1.4Sr1.6Mn2O7 undergoes paramagnetic and ferromagnetic transitions. ab plane was confirmed as the easy axis by M-H curves measured at 5 K.
