摘要
清季,政府强化了对各类"违禁"书报的检查,对宣传革命类书报的查禁尤为严厉,其中对《民呼日报》的查禁,是严禁政策中产生较大影响的案件。通过与租界当局的联合行动,清政府逮捕了该报创办人于右任,进行了旷日持久的审讯,最终迫使该报停刊。
In the Late Qing , state authority intensified the handling of the forbiden books, and the suppression of the books and newspapers of revolution propaganda was especially stern. Thereof, the suppression of 'Min Hu Daily'was an influential case of the Late Qing' stern policy.By the united action with Shanghai Municipal Council, the state arrested Yu You-ren the founder of Min Hu Daily. After lasting interrogation Min Hu Daily was compelled to stop publication at last.
