19世纪末20世纪初,封建制的俄国资本主义已经发展到特殊的垄断阶段。随着经济的发展,俄国与西欧国家的接触日益频繁,自由主义在俄国开始广泛传播。俄国社会各阶层的政治地位也发生了相应的变化。所有这些为俄国早期政党的产生、发展奠定了思想和组织基础。

Russian economy developed very fast after the reformation in 1861. Feudal capitalism of Russia had been developing to a special monopoly stage, from late 19th century to early 20th century. With economic development, Russia began to connect with western European countries frequently, and liberalism spread widely in Russia. The development of capitalism and the change of social structure established the conditions of thoughts and organizations for early Russian parties' existence and development.
