Data Transfer of Heterogeneous Database Based on XML

目前网络数据源的形式千差万别,缺乏统一固定模式。一般的标记语言无法将这些信息以一种统一的数据模式进行描述,屏蔽它们的平台、系统环境、内部数据结构方面的异构性,实现异构数据库的数据转换。本文结合XML(Extensible Markup Language)自身的优点,详细介绍了如何以XML为中间数据实现异构数据库之间的数据交换问题,并将其应用于某高校教务管理信息系统的SQL到Oracle数据库的升级。

Nowadays, the formats of data sources are different from each other and lack of a fixed mode. The common TAG language, which cannot shield the heterogeneous character of platform, system environment and data structure, is not able to describe these data in a uniform format. This article introduces a way that can realize the data exchange between different databases by using XML, and its application in the update of enterprise information management system from SQL Server to ORACLE.
