开发立体化教材,实现个性化教学——《大学体验英语》多媒体网络课程设计评介

Developing Integrated Teaching Materials to Implement Individualized Learning

由于学生众多,师资紧缺,我国大学英语教学长期以来难以按学生需求与特点进行个性化教学,以有效提高其英语能力,特别是听说能力。随着网络技术的发展,目前多媒体课件已能在网上运行,从而有效地解决了这一问题。加上教师的面授和个别辅导,可以培养学生实际使用语言,尤其是口语进行交际的能力。《大学体验英语》多媒体网络课程是专门为此设计开发的。本文从课程设计的理论基础、课程目标、课程结构、课程内容等方面对该课程进行了综述。

College English teaching in China has long been perplexed by the lack of an efficient way to conduct individualized instruction to promote students’ability to communicate because of huge student population and the lack of qualified teachers. With the development of network technology, it is possible for multimedia courseware to run online so that students can learn and improve their ability according to their own learning strategies with teacher’s assistance. This paper focuses on the design of such a web-based courseware entitled Experiencing English from different aspects. It emphasizes its distinguishing features to develop student’s ability for individualized learning.
