Based on the viewpoint of orient tendency of the core of the world economy and trade,this article expounds the opportunity for Mailand China and Taiwan in developing their economy and trade. It analyzes the influence of restoring GATT status on the economy and shipping business of China's Mainland and Taiwan. On the basis of what stated above,the article discusses the importance and ungency in opening shipping across Taiwan strait and relative policy that should be adopted by Taiwan and China's Mainland.
