摘要
In heat treatment process,the effect of rare earth elements on the formation and growth of granular carbides in cast semi-steel and the growing mechanism of granular carbides were studied. The experimental results show that RE is helpful to the formation of granular carbides during high-temperature heat treatment process,but in following isothermal process,it has little effect on the growth of granular carbides. The feature of the growth of carbide proceeds is the size increment and the amount decrement of carbide particles,the volume fraction of carbides keeps constant. And the mathematical model of the growth rate of granular carbides is put forward.
