摘要 The performance analysis and simulation of spectrally efficient modulation schemes , MPSK and MQAM, for Ka-band fixed satellite communication system are provided. The effects of bandwidth limitation, nonlinearityity distortion and adjacent channel interference (ACI) in Ka-band satellite channel corrupted by additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) are taken into account. The analytical expressions of the HER of coherent MPSK and MQAM signal are obtained and shown to be in good agreement with the simulation results.
