一 从希腊神话到雅典娜神庙,无非都在表达一个概念,那就是古老、古代。今天,我又要去寻觅表现“古”这个概念的另一个载体,那就是陶瓷。 我出生在我国著名的陶瓷产地—一江苏宜兴,带着东西方陶瓷文化的异同究竟在哪里的疑问,来到法兰萨克斯先生家。 法兰萨克斯先生的住所兼工作室,远离闹市,虽然不远处的一条马路上正在为2004年的奥运会铺设轻轨,却看不到有人在工地上劳作,因此显的格外清净。 在希腊,我听到了这样一句俗语,即“最后一分钟”,说希腊人无论干什么事,

/ was born in China's famous ceramic producing area- Yixing, Jiangsu, taking the idea of difference and commonness between eastern ceramic and western ceramic to Mr. Flange Sax's. I think potter should have more tempering and experience than other artists, that's ablution through blaze, they can create fine art works. Coming out from Mr. Flange Sax's, I thought of Yixing Ceramic and there was a little bleakness in my heart. Purple sand, which is classical and elegant used for making household utensils, creating sculpture and decoration, should be a characteristic gem of ceramic. Now, purple sand wall painting industry suffers a disastrous decline and doesn't have an erection again. Fake inferior products are not forbidden. Some artists with fame doesn't cherish their reputation, but participate infakeness-making and selling for some benefits, which is distressing. Our creation subjects for ceramic should be expanded increasingly widely. There were so many beautiful mythological legends in ancient China. Why don't we open a road from the 'ancient' subject and advance bravely? When seeing Flange Sax's each works, I thought of our ancient ceramic of the past, nowadays, prosperousness, decline, civilization and mustiness. Be sure not to take a wrong a step in life again!
