"经济原则"是自然界以节约能量为目的的一条物质运动规律。以语言为载体的思维和交流也存在"经济"倾向。但是,交流是双向的信息传递,如果受话一方知识结构中没有(或者受情绪的作用不能提供)与"经济原则"作用下的主题相关的背景材料,交流就会更耗时费力。这种情况出现在英语阅读中,就会造成理解障碍,解决的方法就是在课堂上,教师有意加大客体对主体的刺激,使二者有效互动。
