摘要
"经济原则"是自然界以节约能量为目的的一条物质运动规律。以语言为载体的思维和交流也存在"经济"倾向。但是,交流是双向的信息传递,如果受话一方知识结构中没有(或者受情绪的作用不能提供)与"经济原则"作用下的主题相关的背景材料,交流就会更耗时费力。这种情况出现在英语阅读中,就会造成理解障碍,解决的方法就是在课堂上,教师有意加大客体对主体的刺激,使二者有效互动。
The Economic Trend,one of the natural laws,exists in language use.Because a conversation consists of an exchange of spoken words,any lack of relevant background information or any anxiety the listener has may probably make the talk consume more human energy,if the speaker is economic in the use of words.Moreover,an economic statement may very probably be uncomprehensive to the students who often become nervous when reading English.And this uncomprehension may fade when the teacher can successfully accelerate the interaction between the students and the reading material.
