On Aesthetic Education and the Teaching of Chinese Language in Vocational Colleges

党的十六大把美育作为全面发展的主要内容之一写进教育方针,体现了与时俱进的精神职业学校语文教学中实施美育是教材特定性质、学生思维特点与心理结构、教学过程的需要努力。培植学生的激情、加强教学的生动性与形象性、适当介绍基本的必要的审美知识是语文教学的美育原则。

At the 16th National Congress of the CPC, aesthetic education, as an important part of all -round development of students, was written in the educational policy. This embodies the spirit of progressing with the times. Aesthetic education may be taken in the teaching of Chinese language in vocational colleges, which is determined by the nature of the Chinese language course, the thinking characters and psychological structure of students and the teaching process of Chinese language course. The principles of aesthetic education in Chinese language teaching are to try to foster students' passion for learning, to make teaching more vivid and to let students learn some fundamental aesthetic knowledge.
