三里岛事故和切尔诺贝利事故后,二十几年来,世界上投入了大量的资源进行研究核电厂在严重事故时可能发生的现象、它们可能导致的严重后果以及应该采取的安全对策。介绍严重事故研究的主要内容、国外投入的研究规模与现状。

Nearly twenty years,a lot of resources have been devoted to understand the mecha- nism of the phenomena in nuclear severe accidents,to find the consequences resulted by these phenomena and to establish the countermeasures for safety.The research scales and the current re- search status are introduced.
