《庄子》中庄子国属的内证

A Confirmation of Which Kingdom Zhuanzi Belonged toby Examining the Book of Master Zhuang

庄子的国属有宋人说、梁人说、楚人说、齐人说、鲁人说等五种不同的说法。以往学者们多以史迁所说的“庄子也 ,蒙人也”推定庄子的国属 ,但不能形成一致的结论。本文认为 ,认定庄子国属必须注重《庄子》书中的内证。从《庄子》书中材料只能得出庄子为宋国人的结论。

As for which kingdom Zhuangzi belonged to, there are five versions that claim Zhuangzi was a native of the Kingdom of Song, of the Kingdom of Liang, of the Kingdom of Chu, of the Kingdom of Qi or of the Kingdom of Lu. In the past scholars determined the nationality of Zhuangzi on the basis of Shi Qian's utterance that Zhuangzi was a native of Meng, but they haven't had a uncontroversial conclusion. The essay believes that determination of Zhuangzi's nationality should be based on the evidence in the Book of Master Zhuang itself which provides the material indicating Zhuangzi belonged to the Kingdom of Song. The relation of Zhuangzi to the Kingdom of Chu is academic rather than geographic.
