摘要
How does a child learn his or her first language so well in such a short time? What is the course of language learning? Developmental psycholinguistics, the study of child language, has attempted to answer such questions over the past 30 years, and in so doing, has provided us with considerable insight into the how and why of first language acquisition. What is the affiliation between first language acquisition and second language acquisition? Why do we Chinese find it so difficult to learn the second language--English ? These are the questions we are trying to answer in this paper.
本文介绍了儿童习得第一语言的规律,阐述了儿童习得第一语言和第二语言的方法、相互关系、认知规律、习得语言的最佳时期以及儿童早期习得第二语言的益处,并且针对中国英语教学中所出现的问题,提出了一些建设性意见。本文旨在探讨第一语言和第二语言习得的相互关系,寻求儿童习得第二语言的认知规律,以期指导今后的语言教学和教学改革。
