小议“国画素描”

A Probe at "Ink and Wash Sketch

素描自西方引进,主要以光影、明暗的方法来塑造形体,而中国画主要是用线来表现绘画形式,对素描训练有其特殊的要求。现在除国画家外,亦有不少版画家、油画家、雕塑家对“国画素描”的形式颇感兴趣,因为这种素描有着高度的表现力和形式美感,更能表达作者的感情。

sketch was introduced from the west. It uses light and shade to represent things. The traditional Chinese painting chiefly presents objects with lines and has special requirements to the sketch training. There are now many, besides the traditional Chinese painters, printmakers, oil painters and sculptors who are interested in the form of 'ink and wash sketch' because of its expressiveness and formal beauty as well as its adaptability for artists' expressions.
