锆石SHRIMP样品靶制作、年龄测定及有关现象讨论

Mount Making and Procedure of the SHRIMP Dating

中国引进的第一台高灵敏度高分辨率离子探针(SHRIMP)已安置在中国地质科学院并开始运行。因该实验室为科学技术部、国土资源部和中国科学院三部门共建的开放实验室,可以预计,将会有很多国内外专家使用该台仪器进行锆石同位素地质年代学研究。在此,向大家介绍笔者在澳大利亚国立大学培训期间学到的、本实验室采用的SHRIMP锆石年龄测定样品靶的制备方法和SHRIMP测定流程,以便大家将来更好地使用SHRIMP。在SHRIMP测定锆石年龄时,避免锆石选矿过程中的污染显得十分重要,故笔者首先介绍了怎样避免锆石分选过程中交叉污染的办法,供大家参考。笔者也对SHRIMP测定中出现的一些现象进行了思考。

The first SHRIMP bought from Australia has been installed and run in the Laboratory of SHRIMP Beijing (SHRIMP BJ), Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences. The laboratory is built with the co-operation of the Ministry of Land and Resources, Ministry of Science and Technology, and Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is expected that many experts in China and abroad will make use of the machine for zircon geochronology and other researches. So it is necessary to introduce the method for the users, e.g., how to make a mount for the SHRIMP dating, and the procedure of the dating, which the authors learned when they were trained in Australia and is now used in SHRIMP BJ.
