摘要
本文提出的新方法是指在电子探针下对锆石、独居石等测年矿物进行阴极射线致发光图像分析,同时结合电子探针的微区成分分析和其他图像分析等多种技术的综合研究,以揭示锆石等测年矿物的内部结构和微区成分分布特点,获取有关锆石等测年矿物的矿物学和地球化学的发展史及其地质背景的信息,为离子探针等方法的微区地质年龄的测定和研究提供良好的基础。目前,这一方法已成为锆石等矿物在精确测年前必须进行综合研究的新方法。
Cathodoluminescence and electron microprobe microanalysis are powerful tools in petrology and mineralogy. The new integrated method described in this paper, which combines observations of CL image of dating minerals such as zircons, monazite etc. , by EPMA, with methods such as compositional analyses and image analyses of electron microprobes, can reveal the internal texture and micro-area composition distribution of zircons and yield information about the evolution history and relevant geological background of mineralogy and geochemistry of zircons. Thus it lays a good foundation for further studies using techniques like the SHRIMP, which has a relatively high sensitivity.
