摘要
热电离质谱(TIMS)铀系定年技术是高精度定年技术,它之所以能达到高精度,是由于该技术做到了极大地减少误差。本文从来源角度,分析7种误差源对热电离质谱铀系定年精度的影响,以及提出减少误差的设计和误差的计算方法,以便在化学实验和质谱测试过程中不断改进,进一步提高该技术精度。
The thermal ionization mass spectrometry (TIMS) uranium series dating technique is a high-precision dating method. With this technique, high precision will be acquired because the errors are controlled at a minimum. This paper analyzes the effects of 7 sources of errors on the precision of the TIMS uranium series dating technique. The error come from the calculating equations, the pre-process of samples, the design of chemical procedures, laboratory blanks, spectrometric determinations, test statistics, the initial ^(230)Th in the samples and so on. The paper gives some suggestions to improve the determination technique and decrease the errors as far as possible.
