The component and basic principle of CATV addressable controlling system is presented at first, then the design of the extended circuit for 8031,a product of MCS 51 single chip computer and the addressable controlling functions of the extended circuit completed by 8031 are set forth, followed by an introduction to the software design of 8031 and to the clear and feasible method according to the program flowdiagram.
