摘要
Prof. Chen Jia’ er, President of NSFC, paid a working visit to Switzerland and the U.K from April 2 to April 14, 2002. During the trip, he met with the Lord Sainsbury of Turville, UK Minister of Science, visited CERN, PPARC, BBSRC, EPSRC, some universities and research institutes, participated in the academic seminars held by the UK Institute of Physics and received the honorary Doctor Degree from UK Loubor-ough University.
