东北边疆文化近百年的发展历史,可以划分成三个既相区别又有联系的时期:半殖民地殖民地时期、计划经济时期、改革开放时期。不同时期的文化发展有不同的特点和问题。总结和反思这三个时期文化发展的特点和问题,是从整体上认识和把握东北边疆的文化与现代化进程相互关系的一个重要方面。
