摘要
研究了虚拟漫游环境中人物替身在步行浏览模式中的三维地形跟踪技术,提出了一种新的三维地形跟踪算法。该算法采用了四叉树预处理技术,多次使用了长方体代理造型以简化运算,实用结果表明,算法具有速度快、精度高、适用性强等特点。
This paper presents a 3D terrain following technology for the avatar walking in virtual walkthroughs. It gives a new 3D terrain following algorithm. This algorithm uses preprocess technology about quadtree, and it uses cuboid proxy several times for simplifying the calculating. So it has the advantages of high computing speed, exact result and wide applicability.
