The paper introduces CAD system of steel tube cold drawing process which is a software with optimum function developed by Iron & steel General Institute on basis of computer imitation technology. The software not only helps enterprise design and plan drawing programme rapidly and effectively, but also optimize it The optimum drawing programme can reduce the production cost from one percent to five percent.
