西部大开发战略对西部地区高等教育的发展提出了新的课题 ,而高等教育科研本着为高等教育服务的宗旨 ,应该将解决目前高等教育面临的实际困难作为自己研究的基本出发点 ,并且使自己成为连接高校教育与社会发展的一座中间桥梁。

A new task for the high education has been proposed in the exploiture of the western in China. In the principle of serving for high education, the research in high education in stitution of the western should regard resloving the actual problems facing to the high education institution as its essential start, and to try to become a bridge to link up the high education institution and the society.
