摘要 In this paper an unsteady lubricating model of inlet zone in metal rolling has been es-tablished. The simulation computations show that for the variation amplitude of the inlet filmthickness, the variation of the inlet angle contributes the largest, the surface mean speed thesecond and the back tension stress the least. The higher the input frequency, the smaller the am-plitude output of the inlet film thickness would be. For a sinusoidal input, the inlet film thicknessvaries periodically but is not a sine wave because the system is not linear. In this paper an unsteady lubricating model of inlet zone in metal rolling has been es- tablished. The simulation computations show that for the variation amplitude of the inlet film thickness, the variation of the inlet angle contributes the largest, the surface mean speed the second and the back tension stress the least. The higher the input frequency, the smaller the am- plitude output of the inlet film thickness would be. For a sinusoidal input, the inlet film thickness varies periodically but is not a sine wave because the system is not linear.
