摘要
我国佛教学者虽然对印度佛教有无“孝”一词 ,佛典是否弘扬孝道有所争议 ,但事实却雄辩地说明释迦牟尼佛一贯倡导孝道。他不仅强调孝顺父母是“佛法”、“圣道”,而且是孝道的典范和楷模。佛教典籍无论是巴利文《经集》、小乘佛典《阿含经》,还是大乘诸多经籍 ,都毫无例外地倡导尽心孝养父母。并将孝敬父母的孝道纳入戒律之中 ,规定凡不尽心尽寿 ,供养父母者皆犯轻垢罪。探讨佛教孝道观的特色和功能 。
Chinese scholars in Buddhism have disputed on whether there is the term'filial obedience in Indian Buddhism and whether filial obedience is advocated in the doctrine.But facts show incontrovertibly that Sakyamuni had always advocated filial obedience and he himself was a model.Sakyamuni stressed that filial obedience is what the Buddhist doctrine preaches and that anyone who is not filial towards his parents will commit a minor sin.
