The literary exchange between China and Russian began from the peniod of the May Fourth Movement of 1919.MAO Dun participated in the exchange actively,and he was deeply influenced by Russian realism in his concept of literature to improve life,in his guiding ideology of literary creation as well as in the specific writing techniques.Having promoted the exchange,the predestined relationship between MAO and Russian literature is also the fruit of the exchange.
