The clinical data of 30 patients with GSC after partial gastrectomy for benign gastric dis- eases were analyzed retrospectively. Eleven cases accepted radical resection, 11 cases palliative resec- tion and the remaining 8 underwent exploratory laparotomy. It was emphasized that the detection of stump cancer at a relatively early stage, mainly due to screening programmes for gastrectomised pa- tients, was important in improving its prognosis.
