A CAFIU delegation paid a visit to Turkey from June 26 to July 2, 2000. The delegation was led by Mr. Qian Liren, CAFIU Vice-President, former Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee and former President of People’s Daily, in association with Mr. Zhang Husheng, former Deputy Editor in chief with People’s Daily. During its stay in Turkey, the delegation interviewed in a written form Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer, who kindly provided the delegation with written replies accordingly.
