For further clarifying the mechanisms of atrial fibrillation(AF) through epicardiac mapping, we developed a "route graph" method for the analysis of epicardial mapping signal during AF. Three procedures were used to construct the route graph: detecting character points and constructing isochronal maps, calculating direction vectors and finally generating activation route graph. This method was applied to five dogs during induced atrial fibrillation, Preliminary experiments show the potential of this method to study electrophysiological activity of AF.
