摘要
After intraocular implantation of F ion-heparin surface modified intraocular lenses(FHSM IOLs) in the rabbits’eyes,there were small cells on the surfaces of IOLs accompanied by fibrinous exudates in the early days.The cells included macrophages,fibroblast like cells,epithelioid cells,small foreign body giant cells and lymphocytes.As time went on it showed increasing variation of cell size and fusion of cells.At last the surface of IOLs were covered by a thin and transparent membrane chiefly made by degenerated cells and fibrins,and then the IOLs were well tolerated in the eyes.
