There is a privately-run museum, named Hanrongxuan nearby the Ethnic Village on the shore of the Dianchi Lake in Kunming, Yunnan Province. Occupying a total area of 11,000 sq m, the museum has a rich collection of objects. It is the largest of its kind in China and is also a multifunctional modern art center. The museum adds a humanistic scene in Yunnan, which is trying to build itself into a great province with ethnic culture.
