寺村秀夫语法学说在日本语法研究中的历史地位

The Historical Position of Teramure Hideo's Japanese Grammar

寺村语法是进入 80年代以来影响日语教学与语法研究的重要语法学说 ,它在形成中接收了传统语法和生成语法两方面的影响。寺村紧密结合对外日语教学的实践 ,建立了崭新的实用语法体系。特别是句子结构、语义与形式、动词词尾变化、动词的格支配等方面的理论 ,对于指导日语教学等具有重要意义。寺村语法已经成为日本国内外引用最多的语法学说 ,其理论已经被日本新编日语教科书所采纳。但是 ,由于寺村的突然病故等原因 ,其语法理论在完整性、精密描述语义与语法形式关系等方面还有一定缺陷。寺村秀夫的代表著作《日语的句法与意义》一书已经被译成中文 ,但是对寺村语法的系统评价与研究的论文尚不多见 。

Teramura′s Japanese grammar has exerted an influence in Japanese language teaching and grammatical studies since the 80s. Teramura′s grammar was under the influence of the traditional grammar and the generative grammar in its formative stage. Teramurara set up a completely new grammatical system in the foreigners oriented Japanese teaching. His theory on the sentence structure, meaning and form, inflection of the verb ending, and case manipulation of the verb is of great significance. The Teramura Grammar is the most cited grammar both in and out of Japan, and his theory has been incorporated in newly compiled textbooks of Japanese grammar However, owing to his untimely death, the Teramura Grammar shows certain defects as in its completeness, preciseness in describing the relation between meaning and grammatical form. Although Japanese Syntax and Meaning, one of Tramura′s representative works has been translated into Chinese, papers appreciating and researching the Teramura Grammar are far and few in between.
