1998年底,长虹经营又出新招——成功收购国内彩管总量的70％以上,倪润峰再登“’98中国风云人物”榜首,长虹此举铍评为“’98中国十大终营新闻”之一。倪润峰这个名字,住四川、在全国,乃至国际同行业中没有不知晓的。因为他用“超前、超速、超常、超人”的经营决策把长虹推上了中国彩电大王的“霸主”地位。不唯书不唯上只唯实倪润峰,山东荣城入,高级工程师。

Ni Runfeng, a native of Rongcheng, Shandong Province has been the manager of Changhong Machines Plant since 1985. In the 10 years and more, he led all the employees to go all out in work to make the plant with annual capacity of producing over 100,000 color TV sets evolve into one with annual capacity of producing 11 million color TV sets, 1.1 million air-conditioners and 3 million VCD players. Thus, Changhong ranks 4th in the world and 1st in China in terms of color TV set production and is crowned with laurel of Color TV Set King. Therefore, he was elected the alternate member of the 15th Central Committee of the CPC and won some 20 honorable titles, such as National Model Worker, Well-Contributive National Expert, Enterpriser in Electronic Industry and the Man of the Day in Reform and Opening Drive.
