The secondary prospecting of old ore fields (mines) is the superiority for non-ferrous metal departments concerned and the key to market orientation. The correct thought of guidance and renewing the prospecting methods are very important. Based on the comprehensive analysis, a new prospecting path, namely, anomaly checking-selection of top-following regularities-periphery and deep prospecting-searching for blind orebodies-exploitation of new orebodies, is put forward.
