Objective To study the relationship between the levels of plasmic vitamin C and E and SLE, and then to find out apprpriate countermeasures for the SLE Methods 33patients with SLE and paired normal subjects were in study. The levds of plasmic vitamin C and E were determined in the patients and normals . Results The levels of plasmic vitamin C and E were 37. 98 ±15. 64mol/L and 14. 86 ±6. 53mol/L respectively in SLE group , and they were significantly lower than those in control group respectively (P<0. 01). Conclusion Plasmic levels of vitamin C and E can act as markers reflecting the severeness of SLE .
