本文博引古今中外文献资料，考释了丝绸之路南道（于问道上的）支线乌弋山高道开通的时间、走向和历史上进行中西交往的状况。

Having had recourse to a large number of materials at home and abroad, the author of this thesis has explored and elucidated the openningtime, the trend, and the China and West communication in history of Lidao (离道) in the northern branch of the Silk Road.
