本文从分析甘肃出土的几件铳炮出发，全面论述了我国古代管形火器从发明、改进到全面投入使用的历史过程。文中以大量事实纠正了某些不确切的说法和史籍记载的缺失。

Starting from analyzing the unearthed Chong(铳) in Gansu, the author of this thesis has made the overall discussion of the history of tube-shaped firearm from invention to the overall implemenfation in acient China. the auther has also corrected some ambigious explanations and somedeficiency in historical records.
