Abstract Tokmak,called Suyab in the Tang dynasty,as an important city in the Silk Road and a foreign refuge of the insurrectionary army of the Hui people in the Qing dynasty,had once become famous all over China and foreign countries.After a long and strong expectation of visiting it,the author found his way to the city of centre Asia and enjoyed kind treat.This experience makes him sure that the local people's virtues of good,honesty,generosity,hospitality will ensure the friendship between Chinese people and Kazakstan people to pass on from generation to generation.
