摘要
分析了《大学英语泛读》教材中几种常见的辞格及其功用；认为在英语教学中适当讲授一些修辞知识，对提高学生的英语理解、表达能力和水平很有意义。
A few commonly used rhetorics and their functions from college extensive reading textbooks are analyzed. The author believes that suitable lecturcs on rhetorics in English teaching he1ps to improve students' ability in comprehension and expression.
