This treatise is on word translation and definition. The author expounds the meanings of some legal terms such as “legalis homo” and “lawful man” and gives their Chinese equivalents. The author also gives his comments on two English translations of “双眼皮” and offers readers the lexical evolvement in meaning of the popular word “green card”. [
