The purpose of this paper is to state the question on the present vocabulary translation from Japanese into Chinese. It's pointed out that the vocabulary translation should achieve standardization and unification as soon as possible. The words written in the original and the words written in katakana as well as the words from HK & Taiwan will be discussed in detail.
