随着科技的发展，大学的作用日益突出，但体现大学宗旨的大学精神却已弱化，过分强调功利性，致使大学中应有的人文和科学合为一体的大学精神开始分道扬镳，大学中应有的灵气、活力不见了。为追回失落的大学精神．应在大学中真正将人文精神和科学精神教育并重，以可持续发展眼光来发展大学。

With the development of science and technology, the role of college has become increasingly important;however, the college spirit which represents the aim of college' has been weakened. The overempha-sis of material gain separates the integrated college spirit of humanitics from science, the inspiration andvigour which should exist in college has gone away. To regain the lost college spirit, spirit of human and spirit of science should be both emphasized so as to develop college in view. of sustainable development.
